Quarry Wood, Aylesford

Works at Quarry Wood were carried out within a live industrial estate.  Buildings to both sides of the site remained in use throughout the project, and were separated by only a single carriage road to one elevation, and a pedestrian footpath to the other. 

The control of noise, dust, and vibration were vital, given the ongoing sensitive activities. Traffic management was also key, with deliveries and collections having to be coordinated with businesses either side of the site, to ensure neighbouring operations were not impacted by demolition works.
