Scope of works:
This project involved the internal strip out and structural alterations to the basement, ground, 1st and 2nd floors within the prestigious Heal & Son department store, while surrounding areas remained operational throughout the works.
The site was located on Tottenham Court Road, with limited space for the processing and disposal of waste from the site. Waste management included utilising a shared access hoist and loading bay at the rear of the site, while maintaining access for both follow-on trades, and the ongoing activities of the store itself.
The project was carried out in collaboration with the main contractor and fit out trades to optimise the overall delivery.
